Six ways to sell online in Pakistan compared on price, cash on delivery, local payments and fit, with prices checked on 26 October 2026 and a clear list of who should not pick Yuplify.

The best ecommerce platform in Pakistan depends on what you sell and how you get paid: use a marketplace such as Daraz to borrow its traffic, a builder such as Yuplify or BazarNex for a store you own with cash on delivery, and Shopify, Wix or WooCommerce when you plan to sell abroad or want deep customisation. For most new sellers who ship inside Pakistan, a low-cost builder with built-in cash on delivery is the simplest start.

This guide compares six options: Yuplify, Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, BazarNex and the Daraz marketplace. Disclosure: Yuplify publishes this page and is one of the options, so read the "who should not pick Yuplify" section as carefully as the rest. Competitor prices below were checked on each company's own page on 26 October 2026 and can change, so confirm them before you pay. Where we could not verify a figure, we leave it out and say so.

Marketplace or Your Own Store?

Many lists of "top ecommerce websites" in Pakistan mix two different things. A marketplace like Daraz is a shop window that already has shoppers. A store builder gives you your own website and customer list. They are not rivals so much as two jobs.

Marketplace (for example Daraz)Your own store (for example Yuplify)

FeesCategory commission and payment charges set by the marketplaceYour plan price, plus courier and gateway charges

A common path is to use both: sell through a marketplace to reach new buyers, and push repeat buyers to your own store. If you only have time for one, pick the one that matches where your first customers already are. If they follow you on Instagram or WhatsApp, start with your own store.

Yuplify

Yuplify is a no-code store builder made in Karachi and founded in 2023. The Starter plan is free: one store with a free yuplify.com address, up to 30 products, 5 categories and 2 of its 7 themes. Pro costs PKR 2,500 (US$8) a month and adds unlimited products, your own domain, all 7 themes, online card payments and courier booking. Business is PKR 14,999 a month and is set up with the Yuplify team. See the pricing page for the current plans.

What it does well for sellers in Pakistan:

  • Cash on delivery is built into checkout on every plan, including the free one.
  • Yuplify takes no percentage of your sales. You pay your plan price plus whatever your courier or card gateway charges.
  • TCS and Leopards courier booking and Stripe card payments are on Pro.
  • Plans are priced in rupees on the site, with the US$ equivalent shown for Pro.
  • What it does not do yet: Easypaisa is still rolling out and JazzCash is not supported. The Yuplify mobile app is not live yet. Stripe works only if your business is registered somewhere Stripe supports.

    Shopify

Shopify is the best-known global store builder, with a very large app store and strong tools for selling in several countries. On its pricing page on 26 October 2026, Basic was US$39 a month, or US$29 a month on annual billing, and the third-party gateway transaction fee on Basic was 2%. It also listed a trial of 3 days free, then US$1 a month for the first 3 months.

The trade-offs for a Pakistani seller are the dollar price, the extra fee when you use a gateway that is not Shopify's own, and the work of setting up local payment and courier options through apps. Check which payment methods Shopify supports for your business location before you commit. We cover this in more detail in our Shopify alternative for Pakistan page and the Yuplify vs Shopify comparison.

    Wix

Wix is known for its drag-and-drop design freedom. Its upgrade page on 26 October 2026 listed eCommerce plans Core at US$29.77 a month, Business at US$39.77 a month and Business Elite at US$159.77 a month, all billed yearly in advance and marked as "for reference only" because prices vary by location. Wix is a good fit when how the site looks matters more than store tooling. As with Shopify, check local payment and delivery options for Pakistan on Wix's own pages before choosing.

    WooCommerce

WooCommerce is a free plugin that turns a WordPress site into a store. Its pricing page says the core plugin has no monthly fee and does not include hosting. WooCommerce's own cost guide puts quality hosting from about US$250 a year and a domain at about US$15 a year or more, and those are estimates from the company's marketing content rather than quotes from a host. Extensions for payments, couriers and other features are often paid.

WooCommerce gives you the most control. It also gives you the most work: hosting, updates, security and backups are your job or your developer's. If nobody on your team is comfortable with WordPress, the saving on the plugin can disappear in developer fees. BazarNex

BazarNex is a Pakistan-focused store builder. Its pricing page on 26 October 2026 listed Starter at PKR 2,999 a month, Growth at PKR 9,999 and Enterprise at PKR 29,999, with yearly billing described as saving 25%. It lists JazzCash and Easypaisa, a COD form, and couriers including TCS, Leopards, Postex, Trax, BlueEx and M&P, with the number of couriers depending on the plan. The page did not state a transaction fee, and it showed a "Start Free" button without explaining what the free option includes, so check that on its site.

On payment and courier coverage today, BazarNex is ahead of Yuplify. On price at the entry level, Yuplify has a free plan and BazarNex's listed plans start at PKR 2,999.

    Daraz

Daraz is a marketplace, so you do not build a store. You list products in a category, and the marketplace charges a commission by category plus payment and delivery charges. We could not verify Daraz's current commission figures from its own seller pages in this check, so we do not quote any. Look up your category's rate in Seller Center before you price anything, and add campaign discounts and failed-delivery costs to your sums.

What to Compare Before You Choose

    1. Your first-year cost. Add the plan, domain, apps or extensions, and gateway fees. Our cost breakdown for Pakistan has a rupee table so you do not repeat it here.

    2. How your customers pay. If most pay cash on delivery, check that COD is built in and not an extra app. Read our guide on how cash on delivery works.

    3. Which couriers you can book. Compare TCS and Leopards on the cities you ship to.

    4. Who owns the customer. Marketplaces keep the relationship, your own store lets you message repeat buyers.

    5. How much time you can spend. WooCommerce rewards technical time. Builders save it.

    Who Should Not Pick Yuplify

  • You need JazzCash at launch. Yuplify does not support it, and BazarNex lists it.
  • You need many couriers. Yuplify books TCS and Leopards from the dashboard on Pro. If you rely on others, check them first.
  • You want a global store with a large app ecosystem. Shopify's app store is far larger.
  • You want pixel-level design control. Wix or a custom WooCommerce build gives you more.
  • You only want to test a product in a popular category. A marketplace may reach buyers faster.
  • Frequently Asked Questions

Roman Urdu: Kaun sa platform sab se behtar hai? Agar aap Pakistan mein cash on delivery se bechna chahte hain aur kam kharch se shuru karna chahte hain, to aisa builder chunein jis mein COD pehle se maujood ho. Agar aap ko pehle se maujood customers chahiye, to Daraz jaisa marketplace try karein.

    Final Thoughts

Pick the platform that fits how your first customers find and pay you, not the one with the longest feature list. Prices and features here were checked on 26 October 2026 and will change, so confirm them on each company's own page. If you want to try a free store with cash on delivery, you can open a Yuplify store in a few minutes, and the Shopify alternatives guide and the best ecommerce website builder guide go deeper on the builder options.
